UniKL MIAT signs 3 LOI at Selangor Aviation Show 2023

Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) sealed three Letters of Intent (LOI) during the prestigious Selangor Aviation Show (SAS) 2023 held on September 7th.

These promising partnerships were forged with GE Aerospace, Meraque Academy Sdn Bhd, and Kelab Rakan Udara, marking a pivotal moment in the institution’s pursuit of excellence in aviation and aerospace education.

UniKL MIAT was represented by UniKL’s Acting President and Chief Executive Officer, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin, with the signing ceremony graced by the presence of Dato’ Zulfikri Osman, Deputy Director-General (Entrepreneurship) of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).

Under the agreement with GE Aerospace, a global leader in jet and turboprop engines and integrated systems for a wide spectrum of aviation applications, UniKL MIAT will embark on a journey of enriched learning experiences.

Meraque Academy Sdn Bhd, renowned for its innovative drone solutions spanning various industries, has joined forces with UniKL MIAT to focus on joint research and development initiatives, training programmes, workshops, skill development for staff and students, as well as internships and employment opportunities.

Simultaneously, the LOI signed with Kelab Rakan Udara, an advocate for aviation and aerospace activities through the Kelab Remaja Udara Malaysia (KRUM) programme, represents a commitment to support the Ministry of Education and Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) in creating awareness in these fields.
