“The ultimate path to better career prospects”

The high percentage of employability rate at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has made its name synonymous with the ultimate start to career success. Despite being hit by the unprecedented outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, UniKL has produced competent graduates, proven by its employability rate of 96.1% for the Class of 2020.

Through this significant achievement, it strengthens the strong reputation of UniKL as Malaysia’s leading private higher learning institution, which will be highly sought after for further studies among the students in the foreseeable future.

For 23-year-old Suriakumar A/L Rajendran, who hails from Sentul, Kuala Lumpur to UniKL Info Day, the technical university will allow him the opportunity to pursue a better career.

“To be honest, I am seeking a job that is equivalent to my qualification once I finished my degree in the future. Needless to say, UniKL will serve as “a ticket” for me to land a job,” shared him after having his consultation with the Marketing, Student Recruitment & Admission (MeSRA) team regarding studies opportunities at UniKL.

Before that, he received an offer from UniKL to study for a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Systems) with Honours. He decided to attend the UniKL Info Day to find out more details on the programme and the tuition fees.

“I discovered UniKL by chance on Instagram and then went on to learn about their courses that matched my qualification (Diploma in Mechatronics).

“I then registered on UniKL’s online application and was contacted by UniKL for a follow-up session,” he continued. Having already accepted the offer, Suriakumar will begin his studies on 13 February 2022.

The UniKL Info Day serves as the perfect platform for anyone interested in finding out more about UniKL’s programmes, financial assistance and much other related information. The event takes place until 16 January at the UniKL City Campus.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Nur Azwin Izwana Rusman learned about the UniKL Info Day through friends who are studying at the university.

She, however, has begun to grow an interest in pursuing studies at UniKL since her first visit to UniKL British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) during her studies at a Vocational College in Setapak.

“I came here to learn more about the courses offered since a face-to-face consultation is much more understandable,” said Nur Azwin Izwana.

UniKL aims to provide its graduates with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to contribute to society and to play major roles in a globalised and knowledge-based economy.

In June last year, UniKL was among 22 Malaysian universities listed from a total of 1,300 universities in 97 locations globally in the QS World University Rankings 2022.

The latest QS World University Rankings 2022 listed and recognised UniKL as an outstanding university for its high quality in teaching, excellence in research, and strong international partnership.
