UniKL joins 8 IPTS in collaboration with Tatarstan universities

In a noteworthy alliance aimed at fostering educational excellence and cross-cultural exchange, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) proudly joined seven other esteemed institutions to forge partnerships with universities from Tatarstan.

The official signing ceremony for this momentous occasion took place on the 24th of October.

Representing UniKL, Acting President and Chief Executive Officer, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kazan National Research Technical University.

This significant agreement encompasses collaborative efforts in the fields of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, along with Islamic Finance and Banking.

UniKL stands alongside distinguished institutions such as Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation Malaysia, Multimedia University, University of Cyberjaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur campus, and the Malaysian Institute of Art.

The event was graced by the presence of the Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and a distinguished representative from the Tatarstan government, Aide to the Rais Professor A. Kh Gimutdinov. Both witnessed the official exchange of all signed agreements between the parties involved.

The collaboration resulted in the signing of seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), one Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), two Letters of Collaboration (LoC), and one Addendum.

Hailing from Tatarstan, the six participating universities were Kazan Federal University, Innopolis University, Kazan State Agrarian University, Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Kazan National Research Technological University, and Kazan State Institute of Culture.
