Welcome aboard new students!

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is delighted to welcome new students to be part of its big family, for the January 2022 intake.

The current intake students are enrolled in bachelor programmes, diplomas and foundations.

The intake registration started on 2 January 2022 at UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP) with the overall admission registration taking place on 13 February.

To begin the new semester at UniKL, the newcomers are undergoing the anticipated orientation programme – Welcoming & Orientation Week (WOW) which kicked off its first series on 7 February and the second series is scheduled on 14 to 16 February.

With the current global climate, WOW is held in a hybrid mode that will adapt all knowledge sharing sessions and activities both virtual and physical, to adhere to the government’s direction and the safety of all.

UniKL Deputy President (Student Development & Campus Lifestyle), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Khairanum Subari, during a virtual engagement session, said enrolling in UniKL – which has a student-centric approach – is a sound decision for the new students.

“UniKL has a unique offer that can help to mould a successful future for each of its students. This is one of the reasons why a student chose this technical university.

“The programmes that we create are in line with the demand of industries, not only in Malaysia but globally. It is proven when all UniKL’s 12 campuses are ranked in the top 20 list and UniKL Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT) topped the list,” said her during Sembang WOW which was held virtually, yesterday.

As a university that embarks on Higher Technical and Vocational Education and Training (HTVET), UniKL’s education model is designed to produce globally competent graduates, having been nurtured to live up to societal and occupational demands.
