Testimonials

I really like UniKL, especially the relationship between employees and students. It’s totally different from my home university. They are all so helpful and nice. I really appreciate that. And not to forget the trip to Redang Island which was perfectly organized and fun. I’ve never seen so many fishes before. ????
Thank you for all your support.

This semester of exchange at UniKL was a little special. After only a few weeks, classes switched to online because of the Covid situation. Despite that, they remained very interactive. As I could see in the first month, the teachers emphasized on oral communication and exchange of experiences with the students in delivering their courses. Despite the distance, I was able to get along with some local students. We helped each other for the classes, and I could also count on the teachers and staff of UniKL who were always there for me.
This was my first trip to Asia and I must admit that I have fallen in love with Malaysia! The food is exceptional, landscapes are varied and amazing, and the people are so welcoming and nice. I had the opportunity to travel around this beautiful country and I already can’t wait to come back!
Terima kasih UniKL for allowing me to live this unforgettable experience!

This exchange in Malaysia was the best experience of my life for several reasons.
Firstly, this country is a great place to experience new things: especially food as you will find something you like because Malaysia is a melting pot of landscapes and cultures. Kuala Lumpur is the best city I’ve been to if you like to walk into a city without any plan.

Then, I would say that a good exchange is an exchange that you experience living with others and Malaysians are really welcoming, interested in who you are. It was a pleasure for me to experience the exchange of cultures too.

Finally, UniKL planned many activities for foreign students to get to know each other and they were helpful if we had any problem. It’s great to feel that the university was there with you throughout your mobility.

Hello.
UniKL friends.

During my internship at UniKL International Office (UIO), I felt like I was at home with its friendly people and comfortable work environment. Learning from many professionals and being given the opportunity and trust to be able to contribute directly were very valuable experiences. They taught me a lot of new things that I had not known before, especially in the field of exchange mobility.
Thank you for the experience given, UniKL & UIO family.

When I came to Malaysia, I only know little about the country. I was excited but also nervous. After the first few days on campus and after meeting some of the other exchange students all my doubts were gone. I was warmly welcomed by everyone on campus and quickly made new friends. Sadly, shortly after, the Coronavirus stopped me from exploring Malaysia and the surrounding countries. During the worrying period of the lockdown the team from UniKL was always there for us. This was also part of the reason why I decided to stay in Malaysia. As it turned out, this was the right decision. In the end when the lockdown was eased and the semester was over, I got to travel around the beautiful islands of Malaysia. I am still happy for spending this exceptional semester in Malaysia even though it differed very much from my expectations.

The five months I spent as an exchange student in UniKL were the best months of my college life so far! My objective was to experience the culture and study with students from various countries, and UniKL provided all of it!
Also, both teachers and students were extremely kindhearted and helped us in every way they could. I could make a lot of memories and lifetime friends by simply attending the classes.
Thank you for everything! I would love to study in UniKL again.

Working at UniKL International Office (UIO) for 4 months was truly an amazing experience. Thanks to this internship, I was able to discover a new country and a new culture in the best way possible. Every staff was kindhearted, helpful and very patient.

Thanks to the multiple events created by UniKL, I was able to discover Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, new people, new culture, religion and new gastronomy!

Besides that, we never were alone as we were connected with other international trainees and students. It was very comforting for foreigners like us to be surrounded and offered help.

We also had the chance to visit UniKL campuses all around Malaysia, that helped us to discover more of the country.

I learned so much there culturally and academically speaking, I managed to improve my English skills.
I came back with many memories, new friends and I’m clearly more open-minded.

It truly was the best experience for me, and I really hope to return one day to visit them.
I was very lucky to experience such a good internship and I would recommend anyone to go to UniKL.
