UniKL Contract Researchers Scheme 2019 – 2020
Candidates interested in conducting postdoctoral research at Universiti Kuala Lumpur are invited to apply for UniKL Contract Researchers Scheme from the Center of Research for Innovation.
These UniKL Contract Researchers scheme is for the 2019-2020 academic year and are eligible to be renewed for a second year, subject to the availability of the funding.
Candidates should contact a prospective supervisor (within UniKL PhD holders) to develop and agree on a research program before applying for this scheme.
General Requirement
Malaysian citizen OR non- Malaysian citizen.
Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.)
English language proficiency qualification (minimum TOEFL 600 or IELTS minimum band 6.5) for candidate where his/her PhD thesis is not in English AND candidates outside of UniKL.
Have experience in conducting research and has resulted in the issuance Cumulative Impact Factor (CIF) at least 1.0 (status issue to be considered is in press and published)
For UniKL graduate candidate, has been confirmed passed Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) by UniKL Senate (letter from the Senate must be included)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertake full-time research based in either UniKL Faculty/ Centre/ Institute and regulated by the Supervisor
Present a mid-year performance reporting to the UniKL Contract Researchers Committee.
Produce at least THREE (3) publications per year in refereed journals and/or high impact journals (publishing state considered is in press and published)
Submit results/research report in writing at the end of the period of service approved by the Supervisor to the Director, Center for Research & Innovation (CoRI).
The dateline for this UniKL Contract Researchers Scheme is Wednesday, 12th June 2019, 5:00pm. Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by UniKL Contract Researchers (Selection & Appointment) Committee within a week after dateline.
